There are two ways of refunding a transaction depending on whether the transaction was an online payment or made through a POS terminal.
Refunding an online transaction
For all of you with online shops using our payment gateway, you can refund transactions through our merchant platform, B-Online. It’s simple! Just follow the steps shown here.
Online refunds will be made to the card that was used for the original transaction.
Refunding a POS terminal transaction
You can process refunds through your POS terminal. get in touch if this feature isn’t already activated. The refund process varies depending on the type of terminal you have.
For refunds on your POS terminal, your customer must provide the card that was used for the original transaction.
Help! I’ve not been able to refund a transaction❌
No worries, we are here for you! We can refund the transaction if you email and explain what happened and attach a copy of the transaction receipt. You must confirm whether you want to refund the entire amount on the receipt or just a portion (e.g. if a customer returned some items, but kept others).
