Why an Early Payment?
SaltPay sometimes has to make an Early Payment if we foresee a delay in our payment processing. It's a settlement paid manually which ensures you receive your money as soon as possible. Note however that the payment is made without the deduction of daily fees, which will be debited from the next automated settlement.
Where can I see it?
Early Payment appears in your B-Online settlement information as ‘Not Paid’ in the standard automated way. Rest assured the settlement has been paid.
Early Payments appear on your Daily Settlement Statement as Credit Account with a negative balance. This indicates a manual payment that was made early to ensure you received your settlement on time.
Are fees deducted from the early payment?
Since the payment is made manually, there are no fees deducted from the early payment. The associated fees will be deducted from your next scheduled settlement.
If you want to check you have been debited the correct fees please get in touch with us! 😃
