To start accepting payments simply open the app and press new payment. You enter the amount of the sale and then press pay. The payment is now ready to be made and you can ask the cardholder to present their card either by contact less, chip and pin or by swiping at the top of the terminal.
To view past transactions and perform refunds you access the "Transaction history" from the home screen and locate the correct transaction. This history will show 45 days in the past. Further back please refer to your dashboard.
Please note that if you have more than one terminal on the same contract, the "Transaction history" in each terminal shows the transactions from all of your terminals.
To view a specific transaction in the “Transaction history” you can either search by authentication code or filter by date. The auth code is the 6 or 7 character code printed on the receipt from the transaction.
The calendar icon can be used to search over a range of dates or down to a specific day. When looking at transaction from one day, please chose twice on that single day.
Click into that transaction and you will see the available options, Cancellation Full Refund or Partial Refund. The manager PIN will be needed to perform any refund action.
From within the transaction, you will also be able to see the options to re-print both the customer receipt and your own copy.
A transaction can be cancelled on the same day it was originally performed. This means the transaction will be voided and no money will ever move between you and the customer. It can only be done for the full amount of the transaction and requires the manager PIN.
In the “Transaction history” you can view the total transactions so far that day along with the debit and credit split. Clicking the paper icon in the top right corner will open the summaries page. From there you can view and print the summary of your days activity. You can print the summary as many times you want, and it will not affect your batching or settlements. Take note that the pay by link transactions will be included in the “total net sales”
If you have more than one terminal the transaction history on each terminal shows the transaction from the whole store. But the summaries can be split by terminal if desired. This means you can either see a summary for all your terminals, or alternatively get a separate one from each terminal.
